“Our intent behind bringing this robust healthcare seating and tables collection to market was to focus on providing solutions for spaces that require strength and durability, without sacrificing design. Weli offers a union of strong, structural steel frames with slim, beautiful curves, making it a functional and elegant solution. To satisfy a wide variety of requirements, we included all of the healthcare necessities: wall saver leg design, clean out on all guest, patient, and lounge seating, multiple arm cap options to aid in ingress/egress of the seating, and tables in solid surface and laminate. By including powdercoat color optionss to the metal frames, Weli brings a sense of warmth and comfort into any healthcare setting.”
Derek Schweikarth graduated from Purdue University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design. He has been with Kimball International since graduation. Focusing on relevant design influences, Derek creates thought provoking product solutions that are design driven with a strategic focus on manufacturability, providing our customers with the quality of craftmanship and functionality they expect.
