A&D Spotlight: HDR Presents Mayo Clinic's Translational Research Workplace

On February 26, 2026, Kimball International proudly hosted HDR for an inspiring virtual A&D Spotlight event. Greg Ramseth, Project Manager, and Katie Voelker, Senior Interior Designer, joined forces to present the remarkable Mayo Clinic Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Building.
This presentation beautifully showcases the building’s stunning architecture and the thoughtful design process behind it. Viewers will gain valuable insights into how early collaboration on building programs, planning, and design resulted in a seamless and impactful project outcome.
The designers and architects leveraged research-driven insights to optimize space allocation - prioritizing amenity and non-laboratory areas - to create a holistic laboratory workplace that supports both function and well-being. This project showcases how intentional design shapes an innovative and welcoming environment at the heart of this groundbreaking facility.
