Nicholas is the William Eberle Professor of Economics at Stanford University. His research focuses on working from home, management practices, and uncertainty. He previously worked at the UK Treasury and McKinsey and Company and the IFS. He has a BA from Cambridge, an MPhil from Oxford, and a PhD from University College London. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the recipient of the Guggenheim and Sloan Fellowships, the Frisch Medal and a National Science Foundation Career Award. He was elected to Bloomberg50 for his advice on working from home.
Bryan is the Global Lead of Workplace Experience and Senior Managing Director within Cushman and Wakefield’s Total Workplace practice. With over 20 years of experience, including senior roles at SunTrust Bank and other major financial institutions, Bryan is a licensed architect and expert in workplace strategy, focusing on integrating people, place, and technology. He leads teams to improve brand experiences through agile working methodologies, predictive analytics, and design thinking. At Cushman and Wakefield, his work helps clients adapt to modern ways of working, driving culture and business progress through innovative workplace solutions like the Experience per Square Foot diagnostic.
For more than 25 years, Lily has been rooted locally in the development of Detroit while also extending her expertise globally, building workplace experiences for Detroit-based businesses with international reach. Her creative curiosity is fueled by the evolution of the user, uncovering innovative and adaptive future-forward ways of experiencing space and place. Lily’s dedication to excellence and ability to bring together borderless design teams has earned her the trust and respect of her community and clients, including automotive consumer goods, emerging technology and professional services companies, and developers such as Ford, Bedrock Detroit, Volkswagen, Olympia Development, and GM, among others.
