The Fringe lounge collection offers seating and table solutions that can be combined to create large configurations or used separately to develop individual stations. From club chairs, benches, high and mid backs, and cove units, to occasional, inline, and bistro tables, Fringe has an extensive and diverse offering.

The Fringe family also includes Fringe 2.0 and Fringe 3.0. The design of Fringe 2.0 features a lighter scale profile and thinner arm and back style than the original Fringe, and the series includes a unique club chair. Fringe 3.0 was designed to fit in spaces with a smaller footprint, including our Kolo Pods.

Derek Schweikarth graduated from Purdue University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design. He has been with Kimball International since graduation. Focusing on relevant design influences, Derek creates thought provoking product solutions that are design driven with a strategic focus on manufacturability, providing our customers with the quality of craftsmanship and functionality they expect.
