Frill is an exquisitely modern family of tables that can be placed together to form a striking table ensemble or can stand alone with pride. Available in three different sizes and metal base color options, Frill epitomizes a sublime juxtaposition of style and beauty. The elongated and ornate design of the turned base makes Frill a stand-out piece.
One day at a bronze foundry in Chicago, Elliot Eakin, designer of Frill, noticed antique bellows hanging on the wall. They were no longer in use, but he was struck by their form and function. The flair of the neck inspired the table base shape, and the accordion back inspired the riffle around the base.
The top represents the rush of air escaping the bellows when operated. He wanted to try and capture that chaotic movement of air by segmenting and turning the natural graining of the wood. The goal in the design of Frill was to create a family of tables that form a striking collection when used together or could stand alone with pride.
