Kristine L. Juster
Chief Executive Officer
Kristie Juster joined the company as CEO in 2018 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2016. Prior to Kimball International, Ms. Juster served for over 20 years as a Global Executive at Newell Brands. During her tenure at Newell Brands she held the role of President of the Home Décor Segment with the design driven brands, Levelor and Kirsh; the Culinary Lifestyle Segment with Calphalon, a premier brand known for design innovation; and the Global Writing Segment with a wide variety of market leading brands such as Sharpie and Expo. Throughout her career, Ms. Juster has driven significant growth for the businesses she has led through brand innovation, distribution channel expansion including e-commerce, and a global mindset. She has a proven track record of scaling growth strategies, while preserving the core values that are critical to the long-term sustainability of a business. Ms. Juster is a graduate from Cornell University.
Michelle R. Schroeder
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Michelle Schroeder joined the company in 1984, serving in several marketing administrative roles before taking a leave in 1993 to pursue a degree in Accounting. She returned in 1996 and advanced through accounting and financial leadership roles during her career with the Company, becoming Chief Accounting Officer in 2009. Ms. Schroeder graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana and is a CPA and CMA.
Lonnie P. Nicholson
Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer
Lonnie Nicholson joined the company in 1986 and has held various technical, operational and management positions in information technology and human resources. Mr. Nicholson earned bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Indiana University and completed post graduate executive education courses at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He holds HR professional certifications: GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional).
Kourtney L. Smith
Executive Vice President, Kimball International and President, National Office Furniture
Kourtney Smith initially joined Kimball International, Inc. in 1988 building experience in both the office and hospitality industries. During her career, Smith has held roles of increasing responsibility in marketing, product development, sales and service. Before being promoted to President of National Office Furniture, she served as President of Kimball Hospitality and before that Vice President of Marketing for National Office Furniture. Smith holds the distinction of being a Kellogg Executive Scholar of Professional Achievement in Marketing and Sales Management. She has continued her personal and professional development through a variety of programs and involvement in industry associations.
Katherine S. Sigler
Executive Vice President, Kimball International and President, Kimball Hospitality
Kathy Sigler initially joined Kimball International, Inc. in 1990. Sigler held leadership roles in manufacturing and manufacturing support in both the office furniture and hospitality industry, and is experienced in operational excellence, complex project management, and customer centricity. Before being promoted to President of Kimball Hospitality, she served as Vice President of Operations for Kimball and has held numerous roles at Kimball Hospitality. Sigler graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in management and a minor in finance.
Phyllis M. Goetz
Executive Vice President, Kimball International and President, Kimball
Phyllis Goetz joined the company in 2019 with more than 30 years of in-depth experience in the commercial furniture industry and specifically driving accelerated growth and strategic partnerships within the healthcare, commercial, and design communities. Phyllis previously held the role of Sr. VP, Chief Development Strategist at HKS, Inc. Architects and before that held multiple leadership roles in Healthcare at Herman Miller and she was one of the founders of Nurture, Steelcase's Healthcare business.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Michigan University with a dual Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Education. She has continuing education in Business, Lean, Leadership, and has been a guest professor at Stephen F. Austin University, Texas Christian University, Arizona State University, and Texas Tech. She has held numerous professional affiliations including Chair of the Planetree Visionary Design Network, a member of the AAHID Advisory Board and for the The Center for Health Design, Goetz has served as a member of the EDAC (Evidence based Design Accreditation and Certification) Advisory Board, a founding member of the Built Environment Network (BEN) and a co-author of the first EDAC Study Guide. Goetz is currently affiliated with the College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Texas, Arlington, holds an EDAC certificate through The Center for Health Design and is an Evidence based Design Mentor. In addition, she serves as President of Women in Healthcare Texas, is a jurist for the Touchstone Awards for the Center of Healthcare Design, and is Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified (LSSYB).
Greg A. Meunier
Executive Vice President, KII Global Operations
Greg Meunier joined the company over 30 years ago starting at an entry level position manufacturing position. He rose through the ranks steadily, taking on roles with increasing responsibility, distinguishing himself through hard work and dedication to high standards of excellence, and became General Manager of the Santa Claus manufacturing facility. He moved to National Office Furniture almost ten years ago as a Director of Operations for Casegoods Manufacturing; he was later promoted to VP, Global Operations. Greg earned his Associates Degree in Business Administration and Management from Phoenix University.
Mark W. Johnson
Executive Vice President, Chief Legal, Governance Officer & Corporate Secretary
Mark Johnson joined the company as its chief legal officer in 2020. Prior to joining Kimball International, Mr. Johnson was Deputy General Counsel of Newell Brands Inc. Mr. Johnson served in a wide range of roles during his ten years at Newell, including leading the organization's government affairs activities and environmental affairs function. Prior to joining Newell, Mr. Johnson was a commercial litigator at the international law firm McGuireWoods in Charlotte. Mr. Johnson earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and his undergraduate degree in business management from Hampton University. Mr. Johnson is a past director of the Autism Society of Georgia and the Atlanta Tipoff Club which administers the Naismith Awards.
R. Gregory Kincer
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Treasurer
Greg Kincer joined the company in 1993 as a Group Financial Manager. Through a number of financial and executive roles, he has held increasing responsibility for global treasury operations, commercial banking, insurance and risk management, as well as the evaluation of acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining Kimball International, Mr. Kincer was with the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young in Lexington, Kentucky. Mr. Kincer is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Executive Vice President, Strategy and Transformation
Koorosh Sharghi joined the company in 2019. Mr. Sharghi joins Kimball International with more than 14 years of cross-functional experience in business transformation, program leadership, operations, finance, digital marketing and marketing operations. Prior to joining Kimball International, Mr. Sharghi was responsible for leading the centralization of the Global Marketing function at Radio Systems Corporation, a leading manufacturer of pet products. Previously, Mr. Sharghi held a variety of strategy and operations leadership positions at Newell Brands where he was instrumental in building center-led functions across a diverse portfolio of market leading brands, leading high-performance, cross-functional teams and driving sustainable transformation. He also spearheaded value engineering initiatives delivering significant cost savings through more efficient manufacturing processes while improving the consumer experience. Earlier, he held key finance roles at Kimberly-Clark Corporation across a diverse portfolio of businesses and Marriott International in various finance shared services roles. Mr. Sharghi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan College.
