We are pleased to announce Kimball International's partnership with Appalachian State University to furnish their brand new campus in Hickory, North Carolina. The new addition represents an exciting step forward for the University, expanding access to higher education further into the western North Carolina region.
The opening of Hickory's campus also allowed the University an opportunity to experiment with new design strategies that hadn’t yet been tried on the main campus. Choosing to steer away from a traditional institutional feel, App State selected solutions from Kimball International's family of brands that included touchdown lounge areas, collaborative meeting tables, and Pods for privacy.
